Pivot to Asia: Legal and Political Dimensions of the Rising Influence of China in Europe

The contemporary international order is undergoing a period of profound transformation marked by shifting geopolitical alignments, changing United States policies toward Europe, the increasing fragility of the transatlantic relationship, and the continuing rise of China as a global political, economic, and normative actor. These developments increasingly affect Europe itself, particularly those regions located at the intersection of European and Eurasian strategic dynamics. 

This conference brings together experts from legal and political sciences, the conference aims to create a sustained academic forum for discussing China’s growing role in Europe and its wider Eastern neighbourhood.
