Consultancy
The expertise of the EURAC – Institute for Minority Rights is based in the area of effective minority protection through basic and applied research. The Institute for Minority Rights is offering research and consultancy related to initiatives concerning South Tyrolean autonomy and minority protection in an European and global comparison. Our vision is to share South Tyrol’s experience and knowledge related to the autonomy, creating networks with international and local stakeholders.
We give advice for programming official delegations or study visits to South Tyrol.
We support trainings and organise knowledge transfer for anyone interested in understanding South Tyrol’s autonomy arrangement in comparison with other case studies and the correlated political circumstances.
Through our network we collaborate with partners in politics, administration and research. On international level our partners are for example the OSZE-High Commissioner for National Minorities, the Secretariate for the Framework Convention on National Minorities and the Language Charta of the Council of Europe, the UN-Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues, the EU-Fundamental Rights Agency, the Intergroup for Traditional Minorities of the European Parliament as well as the Federal Union of European Nationalities.
