Juliana Krohn
Juliana Krohn is a peace researcher, trainer and mediator in training in the field of multitrack peace mediation. In her work, she focusses in particular on climate justice, approaches such as environmental peacebuilding and the connections between planetary crisis and peace and conflict. She is particularly interested in criticising peace research and work from a feminist and decolonial perspective. Especially in such a sensitive field, this critique enables a necessary examination of power, violence and domination relations, which can contribute to developing alternatives for living together on a planet worth living on. Another focus of her work is (peace) education. She is a trained climate educator and a member of the Transnational Steering Group of the Global Campaign for Peace Education. As a trainer, she designs and holds transfer-oriented workshops and lectures on her research topics for children and in the field of youth and adult education, among others.
