How can there be Peace?

Syria, Tigray, Myanmar and many more conflicts. There is no trace of peace at Easter. In the face of countless trouble spots around the world, clinging to the utopia of peace seems almost paradoxical. How can human communities be organized politically? As far as possible without conflict? And if clashes do occur, how might they best be resolved? Maximilian Lakitsch, peace researcher at the Department of Global Governance of the Institute of the Foundations of Law at the University of Graz, talks in a new edition of "HörSaal" about the potential of conflicts, about effects and approaches to solutions – and about what science can contribute in this area – using the example of the Syrian war at the occasion of its tenth anniversary.
